November 15, 2016 was the birth of the New Orleans Baby Cakes… The ‘Cakes were the only kid in town! Then in January of 2017 a new kid on the block appeared… the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Baby Bombers. Let the battle begin! Vote now with a hashtag to determine which bambino rules baseball. The losing team donates $2,500 to the winning team’s charity.
A baby with some New York Yankees grit, the baby bombers logo is a scruffy looking bambino holding a bat while wearing a tiny Uncle Sam hat and sucking on a red pacifier. The baby bombers represent the rise of a dynasty. Whose side are you on? #TeamBabyBombers
NOLA is a community of family and fun. Our bambino is derived from the traditional king cake baby. Where else but ‘Cakes Baseball would you see a king cake baby hauling a parade ladder?...yeah, that’s right, a parade ladder. Are you side walk side or neutral ground side? Either way we are all #TeamBabyCakes
The communities win! In addition to a $2,500 check for the winning charitable foundation, there will be much needed diaper donations collected as part of this campaign in both communities.
One fan from each community, who supports their club with a hashtag vote, will be selected to attend the New York Yankees vs Miami Marlins game at Marlins Park in August.
